Welcome to Nava Elementary School!

Welcome to F.X. Nava Elementary where we honor the past and prepare for the future; where inquiry is at the heart of all the learning; where the questions guide instruction and students take the lead.   Staffed trained using ISEC/LANL Methodology; Artworks/Lincoln Center Institute Model;  and Lucy Calkins Writing Methods create a climate where art can inform math and science.  Lessons incorporating cross curricular concepts let us produce scholars with communication and critical thinking skills. Our students exemplify digital citizenship. Students document STEAM projects with technology such as i-movies, adobe voice videos, digital PSA’s and google slides.

Educating the future leaders of the world!

Superintendent Dr. Veronica C. Garcia visited our school to wish us a great year! See more photos here.
